WRITTEN INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS (WIM) WORKSHOP FOR YOUTH WORKER SIRI 1/2019

PUTRAJAYA, 26TH APRIL 2019 - The first workshop of Written Instructional Materials (WIM) for Youth Worker in 2019 was organized by Institute for Youth Research Malaysia (IYRES) concluded on 26th of April 2019. This workshop focused on the module writing for National Occupational Skills Standard (NOSS) involving theory teaching plan which includes explanation and assignment papers. The workshop will be done in seven series overall and the second workshop will take place in May 2019 that will continue the writing of practical teaching plan. 

The effort of establishing module for Youth Worker Professionalism through Malaysian Skills Certification to ensure youth worker can be acknowledged as a profession. This workshop were attended by representatives from Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS), National Youth and Sports Department (JBSN), experts from higher learning institutions as well as non-governmental organizations (NGOs). The workshop was facilitated by Mr. Mohd Shaari Bin Che Awang from Pedas' Industrial Training Centre (ILP) for two days from 25th April 2019 at 4th Floor Meeting Room, KBS.
